"The dust seal should be setting in the groove in the piston. Usually I don't put the dust seal on till just before the caliper goes on...

I need to try that too it was just easier to put the dust boot on while i had it held in the vice (third hand help)

Time to start over and see what I did wrong I need to crack the bajo fitting at the MC and try that too

The piston looked good no rust on the piston where it goes in the caliper

I did clean the groove where the seal goes in with aluminum wire and brake cleaner

The MC is a Mike's ? after market so it probably needs replacing

The above pictures show just how far it will go in but that's where it stops
