I am starting this thread in this part of the forum because it is for members only and access is after they have posted 100 posts.
In doing this here it is the least disruptive to the public forum where access is to the world, (although all the accusations, innuendos and character insults are in that public arena for the world to see). This is my response, semi publicly, to those accusations innuendos and insults with an honest account of the situation leading up to and after Team Junk made a post indicating he was leaving the site.
Because of the accusations and innuendoes being thrown by BluzPlayer in Team Junks TCI thread i am posting up a full review of what was posted, happened and how i handled those posts, (1 was political that contravened the site rules), the the response's, (team junks intervention and accusation I cancel cultured Buzplayer), and how those posts and a response were handled. Now i am accused, ( on a public forum on the world stage), of being a serial member killer
I started a fuel price thread. The price went crazy where i am during the last week period, and i was interested to know, if, or at what rate, it was happening else where.
I knew it was going to, at some stage veer off into a political bent but i was going to try yo keep it on track as long as and if possible. I was prepared to let it roam into the electric car area but again no politics and especially the Putin vs US line and the war.

I have had pms with Gary about the line's on posting, relating to the boundaries of politics, and around that area. For the record he asked me to remove some posts from the, 12 who told the warship to go fuck themselves, thread and i agreed on one post for sure, but my other post was less political than other posts posted buy others in the thread. I agreed to remove my second post as well, just to keep the peace.
Here is what happened.
BluzPlayer posted a full on political post, referencing Putin, Bidden and the War. I politely asked him, (with a please), to remove any political references, and if he wanted to he was welcome to replace it with the cost of fuel in keeping with the thread heading. I quoted his post when i posted my ask and also stated i would remove my post if/when he altered his post.
He did remove some of the political Rhetoric but it was still pretty full on political and he added a paragraph to the bottom of the post chiding me for being to sensitive and how his post had offended my sensibilities.
This is one of the 2 site rules..No politics
Instead of arguing and bickering, I Reported the post. Let the mods, (Gary or Travis) decide if the post goes against the spirit of the site and its rules.
Within 5 min of BluzPlayer altering his post, Team Junk posted a post, aimed squarely at me, and he accused me of "cancel culturing" BluzPlayer, and how out of line i was and there was something else in there that wasn't an actual insult but it was was designed to make me look unreasonable...........
Blaming a request that is based on the forum rules and making out the post was "cancel culture" was so far from the mark it was laughable. It did take me by surprise because I thought TJ was a little more literate than the way he used the term.
Nope i wasn't playing that game so i reported TJs post as well.
Within 20 min or so i got a PM from Travis. In it he stated he had removed both BluzPlayers, TJ's post and my post where i had initially asked BluzPlayer, (and quoted his post), to alter/remove his political post. Travis also posted into the thread stating he had removed some posts and if any one wanted to, PM him for any discussion on it.
TJ replied with a "Goodbye" looking at the times of the post this is not long after he posted his dolphin post in the Gonzo thread.
I received another pm from Travis and to quote him.
It's hard for Americans to talk about gas prices without making it political. Which is ironic because prices are high worldwide and many Americans think our president has way more power and influence than he actually does. I don't have high hopes that this thread will stay non-political.

My honest intention was to compare the prices between countries and to see if the speed of the rise in prices happening here was universal.
it is obvious that a couple of people are going to turn it into an argument as per the perverse insult to my post querying about price gouging.
I'm not going to report posts any more, I will let those who want to disrupt do what they will. I will ignore till I don't.
