    Rear mag wheel not true?

I guess it’s possible. I’ve looked at it, spun it so many times at this point I’m getting cross eyed.

    Rear mag wheel not true?

I brought the tire back and they reset it. Still has a wobble in the same place. Maybe a bit better. I was able to get it back on the bike and it barely does not rub. I don’t feel good/right about it…. I guess I could ride it and see how it feels?

    Rear mag wheel not true?

I took the wheel off the bike. Put the axle back thru it and on some blocks of wood. The rim looks straight but the tire looks uneven. Looks like the tire is not mounted properly. I’ll bring it back. Hopefully they don’t give me a hard time. It’s not the money so much as I just want it done...

    Rear mag wheel not true?

Thanks. Last time I go to this shop. I have another I use that does good work but they don’t do motorcycle tires.

    Rear mag wheel not true?

It’s hard to tell with the wheel stationary. I spun it and looked at the distance between the bead and the rim. It definitely varies around the tire. Should I try to deflate and reinflate? Just bring it back to the shop who did the swap? Other ideas? Thanks again

    Rear mag wheel not true?

The front tire has 2 beads and it’s easy to see. The rear looks like the photo you posted with a single bead (as far as I can see) and very hard to tell if it’s not seated. I can’t see anything obvious. Would it be easy to spot?

    Rear mag wheel not true?

Spun it and the chain looks straight. I did another test. Let me know if this tells us anything. I put my head against the rear brake light to keep it steady. Spun the tire and looked at the brake rotor. Looked good, no wobble. Spun again. Looked at distance between tire and brake...

    Rear mag wheel not true?

I checked both sides. Looks like the bead is sealed evenly. No obvious issue I can see. Look even all the way around on both sides. I did another test. I held a small pen flashlight against the brake caliper and close to the rim. Then I spun the wheel. There is some variance in the distance as...

    Rear mag wheel not true?

Hey XS Gurus, I thought I was almost done with my project. Did a lot of work and got her running good. I finally got the new Shinko tires put together on the rims and think maybe I have a problem. The tire hits the bar for the brake caliper on the right or if I adjust it the other way it...

    Ticking noise when first started.

Thanks. I gave it another shot. Wiped away the oil, got a good light in there to see. It was too tight, not moving at all. I backed it off to get it moving a bit. Need to take a break for now. Back at it later

    Ticking noise when first started.

I tried adjusting with it running but it’s hard to see the plunger due to a bit of oil seeping out. Tried to feel it but it’s hot. At the moment I think it’s way out of adjustment from yesterday. Which direction tightens? Clockwise?

    Ticking noise when first started.

I have to redo it then. I did it with bike cold and not running. Back at it again tomorrow. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the input. I’m still waiting to start it again. Maybe tomorrow.

    Ticking noise when first started.

Update. I adjusted the cam chain tensioner, started it and no noise. I’m not 100% sure that fixed it. Maybe as I was turning ver the engine manually it splashed enough oil on it to lubricate enough to make the sound go away? I’ll let it sit for a while and start again later. If that works I’ll...
